FAQ – How accessible is UntitledTown?

 

Once the Festival Schedule is available, you will want to make sure that you familiarize yourself with the venues where your events are located. If you have any other questions relating to accessibility, please contact info@untitledtown.org.

This year’s theme for the UntitledTown Book and Author Festival is Community – and we are taking it so seriously that we are making sure that all of our venues give you such a feeling. Check out a couple of new venues for us this year (and be sure to peruse their menus!):

 

Amphora Wine Bar

131 N Broadway

Parking

  • Street parking available, as well as public lot across the street; meters free on the weekend and after 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Accessibility

  • Handicap Parking: No
  • Automatic Doors: No
  • Elevators: No
  • Bathrooms: Single-stall, gendered neutral, accessible.
  • Food and Beverages:
  • Designated Lactation Space: No

 

Black and Tan Grille

130 E Walnut St

Parking

  • Street parking available; meters free on the weekend and after 6 p.m. on weekdays. Parking ramp available kitty corner to restaurant

Accessibility

  • Handicap Parking: No
  • Automatic Doors: No
  • Elevators: Lounge is on first floor; dining upstairs is accessibly via elevator.
  • Bathrooms: Multi-stalled, gendered. Handicap stalls available.
  • Food and Beverages: Full Menu Lounge Menu Lunch Menu
  • Designated Lactation Space: No (staff do not have a problem with breastfeeding in facility)

 

Daily Buzz Espresso Bar

  • Street parking is available and a parking ramp nearby; meters free on the weekend and after 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Accessibility

  • Handicap Parking: There are two out front (street parking) as well as a couple 15 min parking spots for dropping someone off. (Street parking is free on the weekends.)
  • Automatic Doors: No
  • Elevators: Yes
  • Bathrooms: Multi-stalled, gendered. Handicap stalls available. Changing stations available (in the women’s).
  • Food and Beverages: Menu (beverages, lunch, and snacks)
  • Designated Lactation Space: There are some unoccupied private spaces upstairs – if you need to utilize one, just talk to the barista.

 

Glas Coffeehouse

228 N Adams St

  • Street parking available if lot is full; meters free on the weekend and after 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Accessibility

  • Handicap Parking: closest designated spot would be across the street in the Adam’s Street lot. (Their customers do have the option of stopping in the Hotel Northland loading zone if they are just running inside for a pickup.)
  • Automatic Doors: No
  • Elevators: No (not needed)
  • Bathrooms: Single-stall, gender neutral, accessible. No changing stations. available.
  • Food and Beverages: Menu
  • Designated Lactation Space: No

 

Pepper GB

114 S Broadway

  • Four spaces in the back (which is where the ramp is located).
  • Street parking available; meters free on the weekend and after 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Accessibility

  • Handicap Parking: No (ramp located in the back)
  • Automatic Doors: No
  • Elevators: Single level venue
  • Bathrooms: Single-stalled, gender neutral. Changing stations available.
  • Food and Beverages: Menu – Pepper GB has a completely gluten free kitchen – and they are willing to accommodate all dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Designated Lactation Space: No
  • Additional information: There are steps in the front – make sure to enter through the back if you need a ramp.

 

And don’t forget, you’ve also got the Rise & Grind on the third floor of the Brown County Library for a delicious caffeine fix and St. Brendan’s Inn if you are hungry.
